Wing Tai Retail selects Epicor for end-to-end ERP functionality

SINGAPORE: Epicor Software (Asia) Pte Ltd (Epicor), a leading provider of enterprise business software solutions for the midmarket and divisions of Global 1000 companies has announced Wing Tai Retail, one of the biggest apparel retailers in South East Asia, has selected Epicor for end-to-end ERP functionality from point-of-sale to back office for enhanced operational visibility and efficiency. 

Wing Tai Retail is part of the Wing Tai Group which was established in Singapore in 1963 and listed on the Singapore Exchange since 1989. The Group has core businesses in property investment, development and management, as well as fashion retail, hospitality management and F&B franchise operations in key Asian markets. It traces its history to a garment manufacturing business over 40 years ago.

Today Wing Tai Retail distributes the G2000 and G2000 blù brands of women's and men's clothing, and is the official licensed distributor of more than 18 brands in its key markets.

Within its 90 store locations, Wing Tai Retail plans to deploy Epicor|CRS' Microsoft.NET-based Point-of-Sale (POS), CRS Inventory Management, and the CRS Promotional Events and Retail Mail applications. Additionally, plans call for the deployment of the CRS Merchandising application, which includes the CRS Allocations™, CRS Transfers Plus, and CRS Retail DataWarehouse modules, along with Epicor's Warehouse Management and Financials applications. Wing Tai Retail has also purchased the Tie Commerce third party EDI application, which Epicor resells, as well as Epicor's advanced planning solution.
