Elaborating on the newly launched Nokia Windows Mango phone, Mehrotra said, "we have built the new device with Nokia's strength and experience. We are happy to say that it is our first fruit from our partnership."

Briefing about the Nokia Windows phone, Harish Vaidyanathan, director - technical evangelism, Microsoft India said, "When we started the design of Microsoft Windows phone 7.5 codenamed, Mango, we wanted to put people on the screen than displaying regular apps icon. So, we added something called Metro style to our user interface --- a self explanatory block and not an icon. This Metro style is embedded with different tiles, which also resemble a block."

Vaidyanathan didn't forget to highlight that they could include all the capabilities of Internet Explorer 9 technology, which they had done for desktop to mobile.
