Wind River to power Motorola set-tops

BANGALORE: Embedded software and services provider, Wind River Systems’ technology is being deployed in Motorola's DCT2500 core interactive digital set-tops.



The world’s second largest mobile phone manufacturer’s DCT2500 is an enhanced version of the DCT2000--the world's most widely deployed digital cable set-top. Enhancements in the DCT2500 include a faster processor and more memory enabling it to run more robust interactive applications more efficiently.

"Wind River provides a robust solution that allows us to manage system complexity, while providing the foundation technology to integrate the latest in interactive TV middleware."
