Wincor Nixdorf 's retail suite hits 1lakh licenses

BANGALORE, INDIA: Wincor Nixdorf, a Germany-based global provider of IT solutions to retail banks and retailers, today announced that it has sold 100,000th license for its TP Application Suite software.

The TP Application Suite is an integrated software package that links retail-specific processes in stores to ensure smooth operations at the checkout and provide premium customer service.

The entire retail market is expected to grow rapidly from its current position of US$410 billion to US$535 billion by 2013, according to research by A.T. Kearney as middle class consumers demand a different and higher quality shopping environment. As much as 10 per cent of the US$535 billion will come from organized retail the report highlighted.

Whether a retailer needs to update software, parameterize individual checkouts in its stores, ensure targeted and coordinated campaigns and promotions or monitor individual stores, TPAdmin software, part of the TP Application Suite, can perform all these tasks comfortably from one central location, said a press release.

TPAnalyze is a business intelligence component that can be used, for example, for online monitoring of the development of sales or the success of advertising campaigns in individual stores, groups of stores or region.
