According to WSJ, the new iPhone is expected to have 32 GB of base storage. Instead of 16GB as an offset limit for the entry-level iPhone, the new starting point will be 32GB, according to a person familiar with Apple’s iPhone plans.

With incremental updates, Apple will reset the other iPhone tiers also; out goes 16/64/128 GB in favor of 32/128/256GB.

• iPhone 7: $649 (32GB), $749 (128GB) and $849 (256GB)

• iPhone 7 Plus: $749 (32GB), $849 (128GB) and $949 (256GB)
