Following, we present a step-by-step guide to explain how the iClone can help you create a comet in a few simple steps.

Open iClone and press the Hot Key'Ctrl + F7' to activate the Character Selection Panel. Select Temporarily Hide Character box, which hides the default character from the scene

Click the Scene icon from the top of the screen; under this you find five subcategories. From these, choose 'Props' and come to 'Template.' Click the 3D Blocks and select Ball_001

Next click the Modify button and select Import Diffuse, under the Generate UV and Map Settings. From the pop up menu, select an appropriate texture for the Ball_001

Select the Box Settings from the UV type category. When you scroll down Modify the screen a little further. Don't forget to select X coordinate Align.

Now, you need a background for the object. Select the 2D Background from the top and come back to Modify screen. Click on the Import icon and select the background.

Click the SFX icon and select Particle. You can see the Particle items, when you go back to Template. From the Particle items, select a fire image to apply.

You have to link the fire with the Ball_001 image. Clicking the Modify will show you the Particle settings. Click on the Link To and select Ball_001

Scroll down the Modify window and make the Start Color Opacity 100 and End Color Opacity 20. Take a note that 'Addition' is active. Make the Start size 200 and End size 01.

The comet is ready with the default settings (first image of fig. 9). When you start the play/pause button, you can see the animated fire around the Comet. Change the Emitter Settings to Quota 200, Emit Rate 200, Emit Volume 25, 100, 25. And change the Velocity to 100, Diagonal 140, and Spread 05. You can change the fire opacity also. Click the play button again. The fire starts blazing. You can add thick smokes too
