Whatsapp users: The calling feature invite is a malware

BANGALORE, INDIA: Whatsapp users beware! There is a new spam circulating among Whatsapp users. A fake message invites the users to try the calling feature in the messaging platform. The link leads the user to a survey which then downloads malwares in the device.

Whatsapp's calling feature has not been announced officially although it is being awaited eagerly by the users. Reportedly, this popular messaging platform has commenced an invite- feature for the calling feature last month, but is still in the testing phase.

The feature has not been rolled out yet,  so do not click on any of the invite links and protect your device.
