BANGALORE, INDIA: Alok Bharadwaj, senior vice president of Canon India and president MAIT (Manufacturer's Association of IT Industry), is among the top 100 global people influencing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) in 2012.
The list prepared by US-based portal ventureoutsource.com includes likes of US President Barack Obama, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Michael Dell of Dell and Indian minister of commerce Anand Sharma.
How does Bharadwaj feel? "India is being considered as trying hard to attract global electronics manufacturing and they probably felt, my role in MAIT and my involvement in various platforms might help," says Bharadwaj.
The company Venture Outsource, LLC, announced the list which also includes: Terry Guo of Foxconn that manufactures iPhone, John Chambers of Cisco, Dilma Rousseff and President of Brazil.
