WestBridge funds e-learning soln co

PUNE: WestBridge Capital Partners has announced an investment of $5.5 million in Brainvisa Technologies, a Pune-based company engaged in e-learning services and solutions.

Brainvisa provides end-to-end 'Learning Solutions' for the corporate, publishing, education and government sector. This new injection of funds will be used for expansion and M&A activities, said a statement from the company.

With this investment, WestBridge will take a significant stake in Brainvisa, and KP Balaraj, Managing Director and Surendra Jain, Venture Director of WestBridge Capital Partners, will join the board of the company, noted the company press release.

Brainvisa helps clients transform unstructured information into

learning solutions to enhance employee productivity and business performance.

The global e-learning trends indicate that from a current market size of $9 billion, the entire e-learning market would reach around $23 billion in a few years.
