The agenda for the meet was to discuss the Channel Policy for FY 08-09, followed by brand initiatives, factory visit (Mysore), product presentation, CSR initiatives and tree planting.

The BDAP Policy 08 will come into force and effect from 1st April 2008 and will be valid till 31st March 2009. The program is open to all existing dealers/distributors who have "financial" capability to purchase 12 lacs worth of material in one purchase order. Under this policy, the BDAP partner can buy any item without any reservations. The partner would get the benefit of the lowest price on the order date and the billing date. The BDAP program has scope for good incentives, consistent bonus, new product incentive, free delivery and market development fund.

Ram N Agarwal, MD and CEO, WeP Peripherals opined, “this is one of the most forward looking policies that we have devised for our partners. Apart from introducing this to them, the meet has provided a forum to interact with them and understand their expectations, and share their views and ideas on the same.” He further added that this will be a great opportunity for our partners to understand WeP products better and promote them to the resellers in a structured manner.
