Websense releases Web gateway security

SAN DIEGO, US: Websense, Inc., a provider in unified Web, data and email security solutions,  today announced the availability of Websense Web Security Gateway Anywhere solution.

The solution provides secure Web gateway that provides threat and risk prevention and deployment capabilities, said a press release.  

The Websense Web Security Gateway Anywhere is part of the TRITON system and offers enterprise-class data loss prevention (DLP) for the Web with TruWeb DLP

It provides extensive coverage for applications and content types including Rich Internet Applications, more than 7,500 Facebook applications, Security-as-a-Service (SaaS)  applications,  Phone Home and outbound malware, proxy avoidance and many others and Offers unified content security system under one management system, the TRITON console

The solution combines on-premise deployment with the flexibility of a full SaaS with TruHybrid deployment and is unified on virtualized appliances with availability on the Websense V-series appliances  including the  Websense V5000 appliance, available in June, 2010, for branch office and medium business deployments
