“The concept of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) is growing rapidly in the market and organizations are doing away with traditional IT management of their business processes. Regulatory issues have changed system management from 'nice-to-have' to 'must-have'. Our new systems management service will allow organizations to instantly deploy and manage software and hardware globally at zero installation cost,” said WebEx chairman and CEO Subrah Iyer.

WebEx has also tied up with CMC Ltd, an IT solutions company and a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd, to expand the delivery of WebEx collaborative business solutions in the Indian market. Under the agreement, CMC will market, sell and support the WebEx solutions suite to its customers in India.

Separately, CMC also announced that it would deliver complete outsourced systems management services to its global customers, based on new system management solution from WebEx.

“We would leverage our skilled resourced to provide large-scale remote desktop management services bundled with the WebEx system management solutions,” said CMC MD and CEO Ramanathan Ramanan.
