Webdunia.com’s catalogue is currently available in nine Indian languages: Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Punjabi.

The language solution provider offers a diverse collection of innovative content to users across the country on the Tata Teleservices network. While the information-based application ‘Dainik Samachar’ ensures that users are constantly in touch with the daily news, Webdunia’s astrology offerings such as ‘Jyotish Salah,’ ‘Ankshastra,’ ‘Rashi Fal,’ ‘Rahukalam’ and ‘Fengshui’ give users the opportunity to view horoscopes on their mobile phones. The company also provides entertainment applications, such as ‘Chutkule,’ which lets users enjoy a good joke on the go.

“We were one of the first developers in India to recognize the potential of creating localized content, and our applications enable users to view their favorite content in their preferred language, irrespective of whether their handset supports that language,” said Vinay Chhajlani, CEO and founder, Webdunia.com. “We are extremely encouraged by the tremendous response that we have received so far and are certain that users will welcome our applications in these two languages as well.”
