Web Services Search Kit

NEW DELHI: Denmark based enterprise search and behavior analytics software maker Mondosoft has recently unveiled a platform independent, Web services based search toolkit. Said an online report.

Using this Web Services Search Kit Mondosoft's search software 'MondoSearch' can be plugged with other software applications and content sources, independent of platform or server location. Said the report.

According to the product's Web site 'MondoSearch is an advanced, multi-lingual enterprise search engine built with .NET. It helps users quickly find relevant data across the enterprise. With unmatched performance, scalability and ease-of-use, MondoSearch is the most comprehensive and cost effective solution on the market today.'

Using the search kit one can search through the Web services and can build customized search pages, independent of platforms, programming languages, environments and server locations. The Kit can be accessed by and deployed with any language that supports XML and Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP).

The search kit comes with two samples, one is a MS Office sample that enables searching of data from various sources from a search field in MS Office, whereas the other one is a Web services based sample.
