WD appoints new country manager

MUMBAI, INDIA: WD, a provider of storage services, today announced the appointment of Sushil Bandi as country manager for the Indian Subcontinent.

Bandi would report to Sharad Srivastava, director sales, India and South Asia, and would be responsible for spearheading the overall sales, marketing and customer support function for the company in the subcontinent, said a press release.

“We are very pleased to have Sushil on board,” said Sharad Srivastava, director Sales, India and South Asia.

“I am confident that his illustrious career marked with a vast sales experience and strong channel and OEM relationships will prove invaluable in prosecuting the aggressive plans that we have for this market,” he added.

Sushil has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and distribution of IT products globally with specific coverage of Asian and European markets. Core competencies lie in creating markets and marketing of technology products.

Prior to joining Western Digital, he was associated with Kobian Pte Ltd. Singapore for five years where he served as country manager – Europe, the release added.
