BANGALORE, INDIA: The much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is now available in the Indian market. Samsung launched the phablet in India last month. The smartphone priced at Rs. 39,990 has a lot of new features.

To make it easier for consumers, Samsung last week released on video on YouTube which explains everything the Galaxy Note 2 can do. Here are some of the features you might be interested in:

Viewing Experience

The Galaxy Note 2, unlike its predecessor, has a 16:9 screen ratio which enables users to hold it comfortably even though the screen size is bigger than that of Note’s. Samsung claims Galaxy Note 2’s display has greater detail and enhanced readability.

Galaxy Note 2 has an 8MP  primary camera, which provides pictures with good clarity says Samsung. Organizing the photos is easier on this phablet as there is an option by which pictures can be selected and saved into one album. Photos can be shared by tapping the smartphone to another.

Any information on the smartphone can be viewed without having to change screens. A new multi-window tab has been introduced on Galaxy Note 2 due to which a user can multi-task on a single page. While watching a video, one can take notes on the same screen. Users can perform other tasks while watching a video.

Easy Clip option

With the new stylus pen, users can clip images or text from any page and paste it on messages, mails or pictures. Samsung India is today conducting a competition on Twitter. ”Use #BeCreative & tweet how you would use the creative power of #EasyClip in the Note II as many times as you can to WIN the Note II,” says a post on Samsung Mobile India’s Twitter page.

Videos can be shot in the slow or fast motion on Galaxy Note 2.  Nearly six videos can be loaded on a single page, according to Samsung.

S Voice

The S Voice responds to the stylus pen. When one cant talk, they can write on the screen with their S pen and the S Voice will recognize it.

Some of the other features of Galaxy Note 2 are 1.6GHz processor, 3,100 mAh battery, 1.3MP front camera, Android Jelly Bean operating system and so on.

However, if Galaxy Note 2 is as ‘phabsome’ as Samsung claims it is can only be determined after consumers start using the smartphone.
