Wacom's wireless Bamboo pen tablets

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Wacom today introduced a range of Bamboo tablets. These multi-touch tablets have wireless capabilities and offer intuitive and versatile user experience. The company, however, predicts to grab 30 per cent of the pen tablet market by 2012.

The company is focusing on user interface solutions that suit the consumer needs. Wacom said that it targets social groups that includes students, bloggers, artists and amateur photographers. The company has also introduced Bamboo stylus and Bamboo paper for iPad.

Rajeev Nagar, GM- sales, Wacom India, said that the world is shifting to digital therefore they want to provide intuitive and interactive experience for consumers.

“we offer optimized touch performance and ideal integration of hardware and software,” he said.

Wireless capabilities are available for Bamboo and Bamboo Fun tablets, Nagar informed. It also has Bamboo Dock which is a collection of applications. The company has also unveiled Bamboo wireless accessory kit.

Wacom’s Bamboo stylus is available for iPad users while Bamboo Paper can write virtual notes for iPhone and tablet PCs.
