VTU in MoU with Wipro trust for faculty training

BANGALORE, INDIA: The Visveswaraya Technological University (VTU) and Mission10X, a not-for-profit trust launched by Wipro announced today that they have signed an MoU for faculty training using innovative teaching methods.

As per media reports, the three-year MoU aims to equip teachers through methods such as developing behavioural skills required for employability and applying concepts learnt for various practical solutions.

Both Mission10X and VTU would collaborate in conducting faculty enablement workshops and engagements, undertaking joint research in creation of educational assets and disseminating new learning.

Signing of the MoU also means that VTU would facilitate the faculty members across Karnataka to interact and learn through EDUSAT.

VTU V-C Prof H P Kincha, said , “VTU believes in promoting successful educational experiences for students of engineering and technology. This collaboration will help us unleash the creative potential of the teaching faculty who are the torchbearers of the institutions.”
