VSNL ties-up with iPass for Wi-Fi

NEW DELHI, INDIA: VSNL, today announced its partnership with iPass for international Wi-Fi roaming in India.

Subscribers of iPass now get access to key business locations to meet rapidly growing business demand.

Shankar Prasad, president – Retail Business Unit, VSNL, said, “VSNL has the largest Wi-Fi deployment in India with over 350 hotspots. It has drawn up major plans this year to further enhance its footprint to over 1,000 hotspots.”

“This partnership also represents an added milestone for iPass as the eight airports within the Tata Indicom Wi-Fi network takes us beyond the 450-airport mark globally,” said Chee Leng Loy, managing director, Asia for iPass.
