VSNL, Microsoft intros ReadyAccess messaging

NEW DELHI: Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited, VSNL, a provider of international communication solutions, today announced the launch of ReadyAccess Business Messaging and Collaboration Services in alliance with Microsoft for SME market in India.

It provides secure, enterprise grade messaging capabilities with quick and easy deployment on a pay per use basis. The service also eliminates ongoing operational, management and administration costs, and safeguards against technology changes and obsolescence.

Using this service, customers are able to securely exchange conventional email and files, as well as share calendars and task lists, and Windows Mobile Access, making it a truly collaborative experience, VSNL said in a statement.

ReadyAccess also offers message security with an enterprise grade Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus solution, as well as on demand storage services. It also provides service platform for SMEs, which will be the foundation for integrated applications such as Share Point, expanded mobility with Hosted Blackberry Enterprise services and Instant Messaging in a phased rollout.

The Tata Indicom Enterprise Business Unit (TIEBU) sales force, the enterprise business division of VSNL, will offer this service. It will also be offered globally through VSNL International, the international arm of VSNL as well as by its more than 170 channel partners across all regions and vertical industries of India.
