VoLTE deployments call for SwissQual expertise

ZUCHWIL, SWITZERLAND: With VoLTE on the threshold of entering the global market, assessing its end-to-end service quality has remained a grey zone in the telecom industry. Until now; because SwissQual took on that challenge and succeeded: the products of the Swiss specialist equipment supplier now support tailored pre-commercial devices to test VoLTE interoperability with legacy network technologies - a crucial step in assessing the success of VoLTE.

Having passed the VoLTE mobile-to-mobile proof-of-concept, operators and vendors have moved into a pre-commercial stage - a critical phase as voice services still account for a large share of their revenues. Maintaining and improving quality levels of such services is decisive to retain existing customers and to attract new ones in this highly competitive market.

With the capabilities to support pre-commercial devices, the SwissQual product families Diversity and QualiPoc now add a new flavor against VoLTE end-to-end service quality optimization testing.
