VoIP prepaid calling cards in India

NEW DELHI: World Phone Internet Services Ltd, an Indian A category Internet services provider, has announced the launch of its VoIP based international prepaid calling cards under the brand name "World Phone Premium".



According to the company, World Phone premium card would allow the users to place an international call from anywhere in India from his personal computer by using a World phone dialer. The cards would be available in denominations of Rs 100, Rs 250, Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 and the company will enable users to place international calls to more than 200 countries including US, UK, France, Australia, Canada etc.





The company has launched these cards in technological tie up with US based Go2call, a VoIP calling service to business and customers all over the world.





World Phone chairman Aditya Ahluwalia said, "The international prepaid calling cards would be available in cyber cafes and PCOs." He added that the company has plans to reach 2,000 cities by the end of this year. World Phone will be available in smaller cities like Jalandar, Chandigarh, Moga, Bhopal, etc.





The company also has a 24-hour service and support available for these calling cards. The company is targeting a revenue of Rs 200 crore this year.
