This new plan will directly take on Jio's Rs 19 recharge plan that offers 150MB of 4G data, unlimited calling, 20 SMSs and free access to Jio's apps. The new plan from Vodafone will be of use to subscribers who want a high volume of data for a short period of time. Users can activate the plan by just dialing *444*21# from their Vodafone prepaid number. Airtel also recently launched data plans with one-day validity, where the company offered 1GB 3G/4G data for just Rs 49.

Additionally, Vodafone has teamed up with Flipkart to offer customers a range of entry-level smartphones at just Rs 999. As part of this partnership, Vodafone has rolled out exciting cashback offers on select range of entry-level 4G smartphone models available under Flipkart’s #MyFirst4GSmartphone campaign.

Vodafone also recently rolled out VoLTE services in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Karnataka, Kolkata and Gujarat to offer high-quality voice call with faster call set-up time to users. Vodafone will roll out VoLTE services across the country in a phased manner in coming months.
