Vocollect provides voice solutions and products for mobile workers in the logistics sector. As part of the Asia expansion, Vocollect sees India as a strategic market.
With huge domestic market and international demand in India, Vocollect believes that its solutions can facilitate the supply-chain management companies as well as retail chain stores.
Vocollect solution has the industry-leading speech recognition technology and built-for-purpose Talkman mobile computing appliances with integrated hardware and software. It also features a dashboard and a reporting system.
Vance Lau, VP and MD, Vocollect Asia Pacific, said that it is the only company with more than two decades of expertise in voice-centric solutions domain. He added hat he company has an innovative voice-directed workflow solutions.
Lau said that key logistics challenges in India include cost reduction, growth management and regulatory requirements. The voice-oriented solutions are 35 per cent faster than RF scanning-based methods, he said
“We offer cutting-edge voice-directed work management solutions that include purpose-built voice appliances and headsets as well as industry-leading speech recognition for warehouse environs,” he informed.
The solutions are available in 35 languages including Hindi. It has a built-in WiFi Radio and Bluetooth. In India, the company plans to work closely with distributors and value-added resellers and solution integrators.
Lau said that India is important to them and is one of the emerging markets from logistics perspective. Therefore their innovative voice solutions are the best-suited for the country.
The company is banking high on the retail segment, apart from warehouses, logistics vendors and supply chain management companies in the country.
Vocollect has also signed strategic deal with Bartech Data Systems for the delivery of integrated voice solutions in India.
