HYDERABAD: VisualSoft Technologies Limited of Hyderabad has announced a net
profit of Rs 15.12 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2000, more
than double the Rs 6.36 crore recorded in the previous second quarter.
The company’s income from software sales during the July-September 2000
period rose to Rs 29.83 crore from Rs 15.05 crore earned in the year ago period.
The unaudited results for the second quarter, taken on record by the company’s
board of directors, show reserves Rs 93.24 crore, excluding revaluation reserves
and employee stock options.
The company’s net profit for the first half of 2000-01 rose to Rs 25.46
crore from Rs 11.79 crore in the corresponding period last year. Its income for
this period increased to Rs 56.50 crore from Rs 27.81 crore in the year ago
period.
