Visual Studio .NET 2003 launch in April

NEW DELHI: Microsoft Corporation India Pvt Ltd has announced that it would launch the next version of its application development tool, Visual Studio .NET 2003 (previously code named Everett) in India in April.

Windows Server 2003 is the next release of the popular Windows operating system and developer platform, which integrates the .NET Framework and offers enhanced application services, providing the right environment for developing n-tier applications.

Microsoft also announced the release of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework for smart devices, that will enable mobile application development. The announcement was made last week by visiting Senior Vice President for the Developer and Platform Evangelism Division, Eric Rudder.
