i-Vista bags one million-euro product dev deal

BANGALORE: Bangalore-based start-up i-Vista Digital Solutions, today announced that it has received a Euro one million contract for outsourced product development from Netherlands-based clients.

The deal involves developing software products-VoIP Security portal for client company Innovista and “Total Performance Score card” for Human Capital Performance.

Narayan Rajan, the company's CEO and founder, said that the products would be delivered by 2006-end through a build-own-operate and transfer model. Besides these custom product development projects, the company has developed some of its own web based products which are being used by clients in the US and India.

These include iMorfus, an intranet framework; iScribe, a web content management system and “Who's on Call?”(WOC), a roster management system. Rajan said that iMorfus has around 18,000 users while WOC is used by 1500 medical and administrative personnel at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. He hopes to increase the user base to 3000 soon.

i-Vista, which was founded in 1996, now has 40 employees on its rolls. Rajan said that the company would ramp this up to 200 by 2007. The company provides connected enterprise solutions for verticals like hi-tech, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and lifestyle companies.
