NEW DELHI: Visesh Infotecnics Ltd announced a strategic

alliance with Cyberworks Software Inc to market image analysis technology to

OEM's for the detection of offensive imagery on computer and wireless

networks.

"Image Analyzer" detects offensive visual content on hard-drives, in
digital data transmission or in real time downloads to servers, PC's, PDA's,

mobile phones, iPOD's or USB jump drives and other mass storage devices.

Image Analyzer does not rely on lists of previously known offensive images, but
rather, analyzes the actual images received from website, emails or file swaps

to determine its content in real time.

Cyberworks is currently in talks with a range of mobile service providers,
wireless PDA makers, managed email service providers, anti-virus companies and

search engines to integrate Image Analyzer into their products. The technology

is available for license on an OEM basis and can be simply integrated within an

existing application or form the basis of a new product offering for IT security

vendors.

Sanjiv Bhavnani, CEO & Managing Director of Visesh Infotecnics Ltd, said,
"The massive proliferation of pornography in the workplace and amongst

youth is a major problem. We see this technology being incorporated on to every

corporate server, iPOD, GSM network and WiMax network across Asia to curb such

offenses."

It is estimated that 2.5 billion emails per day contain pornographic content (8
per cent of total emails) and that there are over 68 million porn search engine

requests daily (25 per cent of search engine requests).
