HYDERABAD: Virtusa Corporation has received the Pegasystems’ Partner Innovation Award for 2007 in Engineering Excellence.

The Virtusa team received the award at the Luncheon Awards Ceremony at PegaWORLD 2007 in Orlando.

“This award can be directly attributed to the innovation Virtusa brought to some technically challenging projects that required some true heroics,” said Douglas Kim, managing director of Global Alliances and Business Development for Pegasystems.

“Through our Pegasystems BPM Center of Excellence, we have worked together on a broad range of engineering and customer implementation projects. This award affirms the tremendous value that our partnership delivers to our mutual customers. We are most honored to have received this award,” said John Gillis, executive vice president of Virtusa.

Virtusa maintains has over 300 Pega consultants and over 50 projects across North America, Europe and Asia.
