Australia's Virgin Blue is the third high-profile customer to sign-up for

aiRES, which provides airlines technical foundation to support their business

and efficiency.

aiRES is built on open systems technology and is designed to replace less

flexible, more expensive legacy systems now common in the industry. The new,

more efficient system supports future growth by providing comprehensive

passenger reservations, inventory control, fares, ticketing, and departure

control functions.

It also offers a myriad of different airline business models for today's

ever-changing competitive environment. Designed to be fully configurable, aiRES

allows airlines to respond quickly to an evolving market, without the need for

complex and costly development.

According to VK Mathews, chairman and managing director, IBS, “IBS is

perhaps the only IT company which has undertaken path-breaking initiatives to

build new generation systems for all the areas of airline business - passenger

services, cargo services and flight operations. We are very excited about Virgin

Blue's decision to go with aiRes, which I am sure, will keep Virgin Blue ahead

of the competition. This win is a demonstration of the complementing strengths

of Cendant and IBS to bring state-of-the-art solutions to the airline

business."
