ViewSonic offers scheme on LCD monitors

NEW DELHI, INDIA: ViewSonic Corp is all set to benefit its partners this month with the announcement of it's channel scheme 'ViewSonic Enlivens 2008'.

The city-specific scheme offers ViewSonic channel partners with an opportunity to take away a 17-inch wide screen LCD monitor or a 19-inch Chianti series LCD monitor on purchase of specified bundles of ViewSonic 16, 17, 19 and 22-inch LCD monitors from its authorized distributors in respective cities.

Speaking on the launch of the scheme, Gautam Ghosh, Country Manager, ViewSonic Technologies India said, "We believe in benefiting our partners at every stage of growth. This scheme is an acknowledgement of the contribution made by our channel partners in Q1 '08, thereby making ViewSonic the number one brand in non-bundled 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor category in India."

The offer is available in all the major cities of India. Channel partners can avail of this offer by booking their orders with authorized distributors till end of July.

Recently ViewSonic also garnered the number one slot in the India in standalone 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor category.

As per IDC's Asia-Pacific Quarterly PC Monitor Tracker, Q1 '08, ViewSonic led the race with 53.1 percent marketshare in terms of unit shipments of 22-inch non-bundled LCD monitor market segment in India ahead of all other major competing brands.
