Vidyakul claims to be India’s first vernacular after school e-learning platform. It has raised $500K led by We Founder Circle and other marquee investors including JITO Angel Network and Thinkuvate in bridge round.
Vidyakul is aimed at providing after-school e-learning for the state board students in vernacular languages. The edtech start-up provides education in four languages. It helps students learn via pre-recorded and live lectures from trusted local teachers.
“E-learning has the capability to address long-standing challenges of – access to quality education, reaching remotest of the areas, student-teacher ratio etc.,” Tarun Saini said.
Vidyakul plans to use the funds in expanding the team and improve platform functionality.
