Verizon Business brings cloud storage solution

NEW JERSEY, USA: Verizon Business, an operating units of Verizon Communications Inc, introducing a new cloud-based offering, Verizon Cloud Storage, and a complementary suite of data-retention IT consulting services.

Verizon Cloud Storage, a pay-as-you-go service, offering can help IT departments to levearage Verizon's storage infrastructure.

"The current methods of storing huge and growing volumes of enterprise data are simply not sustainable from either a cost or management perspective," said Joseph S. Crawford, executive director, IT solutions product management, Verizon Business. "Verizon Cloud Storage will offer IT departments a cost-effective and simpler way to store data."

Verizon Cloud Storage offering will be available in July.
