The Seagate distribution will include the internal hard drives for both desktops and notebooks.

Commenting that having adding Seagate into the distribution portfolio of Vajawat has been adding a feather to its cap, Hitesh Vajawat, CEO, Vajawat Computers said, “We have a strong network of 300 channel partners and are confident in taking Seagate a long way through our reach in Tamil Nadu.”

Vajawat Computers joins ICOM Systems and Universal Microsystems for the Seagate distribution for Tamil Nadu and Vajawat claimed that Vajawat Computers remained at the top in the Intel distribution for almost eight quarters and the company was also at the top in the sales of Acer’s display products across the country for January 2009, which he claimed has given good confidence to the company to add more products to its distribution portfolio.

On the other hand, Vajawat Computers is also getting into retail sector and has proposed to open a retail showroom in Ritchie Street within three months time.

“We have been a pioneer in the sub-distribution and have been in the distribution for about six years helping the channels in getting the products sold. And now we also would like to get into the end-user segment by opening a retail showroom in Ritchie Street. We have already opened an e-commerce portal called officeduniya.com and this foray into the retail segment will be due to the transformation that we need to make in day-to-day affairs inorder to grow further,” Vajawat averred.

Vajawat Computers posted a turnover of Rs 50 crore in the last fiscal and Vajawat claimed that it would definitely be a good show if the company is able to maintain last years growth momentum at this point of downtime.
