USIBC appoints 10 new directors on board

NEW DELHI: The US India Business Council (USIBC) today announced the appointment of 10 board members.

The new batch of the board of directors comprise eminent business names from companies like Google, AT&T, Tata Sons, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Sybase, said a press release.

The new USIBC board members are: Nelson W. Cunningham (McLarty Associates), Bal G Das (InsCap), Adm (Ret) Walter F Doran (Raytheon), Brooks Entwistle (Goldman Sachs India), David P Good (Tata Sons Ltd), VS Gopi Gopinath (AT&T), Lawrence Leibowitz (NYSE Eu ronext), Raj Nathan (Sybase), Shailesh Rao (Google) and Manoj Singh (Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu).

“The US-India Business Council is delighted that such an esteemed group of professionals are willing to join forces under the banner of USIBC to advance US-India ties. Their commitment is truly gratifying,'' said Ron Somers, President, USIBC.

The U.S.-India Business Council was formed in 1975 at the request of the Government of India and the U.S. Government to advance commercial ties between the two countries. It is hosted under the aegis of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
