Usha Informatics, a distributor for Tadiran products in

India, announced the introduction of a new virtual office for the business enterprise by

adding an integrated messaging functionality to the Coral communications platform. The

Coral platform was developed by Tadiran Telecommunications, Israel, which has recently

merged into ECI Telecom. The new Coral World Wide Office (CWWO) will enable workers to

access their offices from wherever they are, increasing productivity and response times.

Integrated messaging enables the users to access all

messages using one device. With CWWO, users can view, send, fax, store, retrieve and

listen to all voice mail, e-mail and fax mail messages via their choice of telephone,

mobile phone, fax, PC or Java-based Internet Terminal. Unique to the CWWO is a Java

clent,

which enables the users to access their messages via the Internet from any PC or

Java-based browser, without having to install the CWWO application. A virtual assistant

keeps complete control of messages, providing features such as prioritizing and filtering.

The system routes the messages and notifies recipients according to specific criteria and

preferences defined by the user.

The CWWO is completely modular and scaleable, and

integrates with the Coral PBX. Executives can use basic voice mail or the complete

integrated unified messaging system. From small to large businesses, the CWWO grows

according to the needs of the organi-zation.
