US IT journal lauds vMoksha CEO

BANGALORE: Pawan Kumar, CEO, vMoksha Technologies, has been profiled in a cover story titled Innovators and Influencers in the December 22, 2003 issue of Information Week, a premier US-based Information Technology publication. The profile of Pawan Kumar headlined ‘Paying Attention to the Process’, highlights his focus on creating newer benchmarks of quality in the outsourcing business by developing an enhancement to SEI’s Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMi). The new model, Business CMMi or bCMMi includes broader organizational issues such as risk assessment and contingency planning, extending the ambit of quality measurement beyond just the technical and management areas that surround software development. The proposed model that covers 57 processes will be presented to the SEI in the next year.
