Under the MOA, KMSG is authorized to provide services in three functional areas, including: business administration and management (BAM), computer/information systems development (CSD), and documentation and training (D&T). The initial period of performance is October 2009 through September 2014 with two one-year options that, if exercised, would extend the agreement through September 2016.

KMSG has a long track record of successfully supporting the FAA. For example, as part of the agency’s NextGen transformational programs, the company helped the FAA implement ANSI/EIA-748 compliant earned value management (EVM) for all major programs. In addition, KMSG’s Business Performance Improvement (BPI) services have helped re-engineer processes within the FAA’s Service Centers to improve organizational effectiveness and operational efficiencies during the FAA’s transformation from a regional operating model to a more centralized one.

“This award further enables KMSG to bring the full depth and breadth of our capabilities and experience to support critical programs across the FAA and other federal agencies,” said Kevin Martin, president of KMSG. “Most importantly, it recognizes our role as a trusted business partner to organizations focused on achieving measurable results.”
