US BPO eyes Indian B-School grads

BANGALORE: vCustomer, the leading US-based global provider of offshore process-driven BPO, contact center and technical support services, today announced its plans to induct twenty-five graduates from elite Business Schools across India. Beginning this month, graduates from the IIM's, XLRI, SP Jain, FMS, NITIE & ISB will join the operation teams at vCustomer's facilities in Delhi and Pune.



Founded in 1999 and backed by investment firms Warburg Pincus and WestRiver Capital, vCustomer delivers compelling BPO and call center services to US based Fortune 1000 companies.



The move, an industry first, will provide vCustomer with the managerial talent necessary to maintain its industry leading quality standards ,while the firm continues to expand at a rapid pace. With the headcount projected to nearly double by end of the year, the B-school graduates will add to the middle management depth necessary to ensure smooth growth in the coming quarters. The recruitment reflects on a long-term investment in the next generation of senior leadership at vCustomer and a recognition of the strong development program that vCustomer has created over the last 4 years.
