MORRISTOWN, USA: In recent months, Jim Bistis, President and CEO of Oracle Certified Partner, Core Services Corporation (Core), has noticed an increasing number of companies exploring hosting options for their Oracle ERP applications as the global economy becomes more unpredictable.

This trend has increased Core's worldwide client base as they continue to deliver award-winning Oracle-based business operations solutions and support in Oracle Consulting and Oracle Hosting Services.

Bistis notes, "With leaner economic times in 2009, operating budgets are being slashed, and financial capital is increasingly harder to come by, both of which make the ability to deploy new Oracle ERP solutions or critical major business upgrades much more difficult to accomplish." He adds, "With constant requirements for IT effectiveness and with additional compliance strains mounting, we are already seeing an upswing for the type of exemplary hosting services that Core provides."

Now more than ever, companies are quickly realizing the value of hosting their Oracle Applications as a way to significantly lower the total cost of Oracle ownership while improving issue resolution and performance, accelerating upgrades and technology rollouts, and proactively managing the system. By minimizing the total cost of ownership, the ASP model on average translates into annual savings of 20-40 percent.

"We know that companies around the world are turning to outsourcing to help reduce or stabilize their costs, access advanced technology, compensate for a lack of skilled IT workers, improve business efficiency and remain competitive in the global marketplace," says Keith Inouye, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Core.

"Small to medium-size businesses (SMB) all around the world have many of the same pains as larger global companies," continues Inouye, "and Core knows and understands those pains intimately as a growing SMB company. Managing growth, dealing with increased financial complexity and collaborating on a global scale can overwhelm even the most experienced executives and their teams." Inouye emphasizes, "By removing a majority of the IT risk with our globally supported hosting, Core is able to offer a comprehensive Oracle solution to our clients, enabling them to compete in the worldwide market place."
