Upgrade career with ‘UpGrad’

MUMBAI, INDIA: A newly ventured start-up U Education, has launched its online courses for young professionals under the brand name UpGrad, which will offer specialization programs in entrepreneurship, data analytics and digital business management and will expand its program portfolio over the next 12-18 months.

Upgrad aims to focus on learning in as rigorous an environment as a classroom but with the full flexibility of time to allow the professionals to continue to work while they learn new things to upgrade their career.

According to Mayank Kumar, co-founder & MD, UpGrad, “Our programs will be selective. We are looking to create highly interactive and engaging content and encourage social and peer-to-peer interactions. We will also offer dedicated learning experience managers and teaching associates to students to provide an unparalleled learning experience.”

The start-up is co-founded by Ronnie Screwvala, Mayank Kumar, Ravijot Chugh and Phalgun Kompalli.
