Updated corrections on Vaccine Certificate via Cowin will appear on final certificate

As CoWIN may go global, users in India have been facing issues with the platform in recent times. For instance, Suresh Patel* from Ahemdabad stated that he edited the ID with his passport number on CoWIN Portal. But, unfortunately, when he downloaded the vaccine certificate, it did not show the passport number on the certificate. It still showed his Aadhaar Number. Mallikarjuna*, too, faced a similar issue and sought advice from CiOL.

Majorly, the problem that everyone has been facing is that the corrections have happened on the portal, but do not reflect on the certificate upon downloading. According to the platform, the corrections will be visible on the final certificate. Thus, only after the completion of two doses, you can download the updated vaccine certificate.
