Update Windows 10 Immediately to stay safe against two “critical” vulnerabilities

Microsoft recently issued an urgent warning to all the Windows 10 users to updates their system immediately. This update will protect Windows 10 users from two critical vulnerabilities. In a blogpost, Microsoft warned its users about the two vulnerabilities and mentioned that users’ data is on risk.

The vulnerabilities that rival the previous “BlueKeep” crisis and the new issues are described as “wormable”. These can spread malware from one to another machine without any interaction from the user.

The update is available across the globe, and users need to update them immediately as it will be available for a couple of days or a week. This update will help to secure your data and combat with both vulnerabilities. We also, suggest having a backup of your important data on other external drives.

“It is important that affected systems are patched as quickly as possible because of the elevated risks associated with wormable vulnerabilities like these,” said Simon Pope, Microsoft’s director of Incident Response. “Customers who have automatic updates enabled are automatically protected by these fixes.”

If in case, you don’t get an automatic update, do it manually by typing “Windows Update” in the search bar from the system’s start menu search bar. And then you will be guided to get the update on your system.
