This will enable people in six e-districts to register themselves with employment exchange, national rural employment guarantee act, Pradhanmantri Rozgar Yojna, revenue case tracking, ration card and use other identified services of the state government.

Initially UP government had identified 10 services and 32 sub-services for the delivery out of which software for 23 services were ready. The 10 state government services identified initially were related to various certificates like caste, income, birth and other certificate, pension schemes, employment, revenue court, public distribution system, RTI and grievances, dues and recovery services, utility, police and electoral services.

Caste, income and domicile services were the three services that were made online since the beginning of e-governance plan in all e-districts of Uttar Pradesh, except in Sultanpur and Gorakhpur.

“We are implementing these projects as pilot project in these e-districts and on success we will soon implement it across the state,” added the Principal Secretary.

At present UP has around 4000 CSCs across the state for providing government and commercial services to public. UP has selected CMS Computers, SRIE Infrastructure, Comet Technologies and 3i Infotech as service center agencies for CSC. UP government has plan to increase number of CSC to over 17000 by this year end in order to boost its e-governance infrastructure.
