NEW DELHI, INDIA: Indian real estate firm Unitech Ltd said on Thursday its telecoms arm had received licences after complying with guidelines prescribed by the Indian Telecommunications Ministry.
The company said in a statement it was providing full cooperation and information to all government authorities.

The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India said in a recent report that Unitech, a company with no prior experience in the telecoms sector at the time, was allocated spectrum at "a throw away price" by the department of telecommunications.
