Uniline expects over Rs 200 cr revenue in FY10-11

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Uniline Energy Systems expects to clock revenue over Rs 200 crore in the financial year 2010-11.

“We have very ambitious plan for next fiscal year. In the coming financial year, Uniline will add new products in its portfolio and expand its presence across the country. By the end of next financial year, we are confident of crossing Rs 200 crore mark,” said RK Bansal, managing director, Uniline Energy Systems on the occasion of completing its 20 years of business here on Thursday.

Uniline has plan to expand the number of channel partners across the country, up to three distributors per state and one dealer across each city in the country.

The company will tie-up with channel partners that are technically well qualified and equipped to provide services for the company’s product locally.

“The numbers of distributors will vary from state to state. We expect one distributor to take care of at least six to seven districts in a state,” said Bansal.

Uniline expects that the expansion of channel partners’ base will help the company to garner revenue of Rs. 100 crore.

“We will have multiple schemes to encourage business of our channel partners ranging from gifts, bonus to international tours,” said Sumantha Guha from marketing division of Uniline.

The company plans to invest Rs 10 crore in the coming financial year to increase its visibility in the market. In the last financial year, the company reported its revenue of Rs 80 crore and is due to announce its financial result for this fiscal in the next 20 days.

Uniline has 67 channel partners across the country. These channel partners account for 37 per cent revenue to the company. Close to 33 per cent of the company’s revenue comes from original equipment manufacturers and 30 per cent from government sector.

The company has further planned to enter into solar power solutions in the coming financial year.

“We may launch solar power solution in this May. These solutions will be mainly used to provide power solution in rural areas. There are very ambitious plans and projects that we have envisaged for rural market,” said Bansal.

On this occasion, Uniline unveiled its D Series UPS in the range of 40 to 300 KVA single modules. These UPS can be connected parallel to each other with the limit of six UPS on bus.
