Unify intros new version of Team Developer

ROSEVILLE, USA: Unify Corp., provider of application development, data management, migration and content archiving software has announced the general availability of Team Developer 5.2, its highly productive rapid application development tool.

The tool delivers new technology and features to refresh and modernize applications, increase developer productivity and enhance reporting.

It features a modern GUI that is intuitive and productive for application end users. Developers are able to improve productivity by quickly enhancing Team Developer applications with new GUI objects including a visual grid, where cell types and other properties can be set at design time and programmatically at application runtime said a press release.

New powerful report design and text automation capabilities enable users to create more modern reports. Using Report Builder 5.2, released with Team Developer 5.2, users can design reports using text rotation and watermarks. Watermarks can be either text or images including a full set of formatting options.

The new rich text object allows for the creation of reports from predefined formatted text blocks stored in a database or files. The new IDE delivers quick and seamless report generation through redesigned ribbon bars that provide quicker access to commonly used reporting features.

“We successfully tested Team Developer 5.2 during the Beta Test. We did the upgrade from Team Developer 5.1 to 5.2 with our own enterprise resource planning system,” said Dr. Martin Diestelmann, general manager of MD Consulting, based in Germany.
