Umax announces APUS series USB flash drive

NEW DELHI: Neoteric Infomatique Pvt Ltd has announced the launch of the Apus

series of USB flash drive form UMAX, the small removable flash storage solution

available for downloading, storing and transferring data between digital

devices.

According to the press release, measuring 15 X 11 X 9 mm weighing about 15

gms, Apus, is the smallest USB flash drive available from UMAX, which is

initially available with storage capacities of 128 MB and 256MB.

The release further states that Apus plugs directly into a PC or Macintosh

USB 1.1 / USB 2.0 port for safe, fast file transfer without the need of external

cables, cords or cradles. There is no need for user to install any software

driver under Window 2000 (older Window versions may need driver installation).

 It offers convenient and easy data storage and file transfer

capabilities for PCs at the rate of 5 MB/sec read and 4 MB/sec of write speeds.

It also feature password protection, which enables security of data.
