UL Japan announces signaling evaluation test

TOYKO, JAPAN: UL Japan, a subsidiary of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) has announced the launch of W-CDMA/LTE signaling evaluation test accredited by NTT DOCOMO, Inc. (DOCOMO), leading mobile communication carrier in Japan.

UL Japan, as a DOCOMO Approved Testing Laboratory (D-ATL), started the signaling evaluation test service in October, 2013 for DOCOMO devices including smartphones, modules and chipsets. This test evaluates connectivity between mobile devices and base stations for W-CDMA and LTE.

UL Japan, as registered certification body under the Japanese Radio Law, can now provide customers one-stop service supporting regulations from the Japanese Radio Law, FCC/IC, R&TTE, any international radio regulations to CTIA, GCF, PTCRB through UL's global network.
