UK's Asite sets up Indian arm

AHMEDABAD: UK-based software services company, Asite Solutions has inaugurated its Indian subsidiary at Ahmedabad. Asite CEO Tom Dengenis informed that the company would primarily focus on procurement and project management. With headquarters in Ahmedabad, Asite plans to open branch offices in other Indian cities. It also plans to invest over Rs 10 crore in the next two years with 500 plus recruitment in the next two years.



Asite Technology Director, Nathan R Doughty informed that while India will be the hub for the company's operations in the Asia Pacific region, it plans to foray US markets through convergence plans that include mergers and acquisitions.



Asite group with operations in European and Middle East countries recorded a turnover of over £1.7 million for financial year 2003 and the company has targeted to achieve a turnover exceeding £ four million by the end of FY 2004.
